DISTRACTION is a Northern Rivers acoustic rock duo bringing together the voices, experience and unmistakable chemistry of Debi Martin and Brad Buckley. With Brad’s rhythmic acoustic guitar driving the sound and two distinctive lead vocalists out front, Distraction delivers a huge mix of well-known favourites spanning the 70s through to today — from laid-back acoustic classics to the songs that get a pub singing, dancing and asking for one more.

Both Debi and Brad have spent years performing throughout Queensland and New South Wales, bringing a polished but genuinely relaxed approach to every show. They know how to read a room, connect with an audience and adapt their performance to suit the venue — whether that means easygoing afternoon acoustic vibes, a dinner crowd, or turning things up for a full-energy night of pub rock.

Their repertoire travels from Cat Stevens, The Eagles, Pete Murray and Keith Urban through to Cold Chisel, Guns N’ Roses and Pearl Jam, while Debi brings plenty of powerhouse rock to the mix with favourites from P!nk, Melissa Etheridge, Pat Benatar, The Divinyls and more.
